Storyboard Text

  • Perspective and motivation
  • You insulted my family, now I must kill you!
  • You have a creepy eye! So I must kill you!
  • Claim
  • Would you be kind enough to come taste this wine for me?
  • Textual evidence
  • I am going to kill that old man, because his eye gives my the chills.
  • In the story, " The Cask Of Amontillado" The Montresor was motivated by the Fortunato insulting his family. His perspective is, Fortunado needed to be punished for what he did. And in the stroy, "The Tell Tale heart" The narrators motivation was the fact that the old man had a creepy eye. His perspective was the old Man needed to be killed because of how weird his eye was.
  • Analysis
  • The Montresors revenge is more justified than the narrorator of, "The Tell Tale Heart".
  • Counterclaim
  • The montresors evidence is In the text it says, "Fortunado had insulted me. So I vowed revenge." The narrorators eveidence Is," I think it was his eye! yes,it was this! One of his eyes resembled that of a vulture-a pale blue eye, with a film over it."
  • Wrap up
  • that is the evidence for the montressor because in the text it also talked about the families coat of arms. Then it talks about how they think that things should be punished if wrong. The montressor says "were" when he talked about his family. The narrators quote is evidence is, it is showing that there was at least a tiny reason to doing what he did, which was kill the old man because he had a creepy eye.
  • Some people might think that the narrators revenge was more justified. They might think that because he was not in his right mind. He could have been crazy, as they talk about in the story when they say he was mad. Even though the narrator may of not been in his right mind, he still wasn't as justified as the montresor, who had been insulted.
  • Clearly the montresor had a more justified revenge.
