  • Thank you so much, I will not let you down Mr. Adams.
  • William Marbury, I now offer you the job as Justice of Peace for the District of Columbia.
  • But I was promised and worked so hard for that job!
  • I am taking away your job as Justice of Peace now that I am in office.
  • I am going to report this to the Supreme Court. I know that my fellow Federalist, John Marshall will help me.
  • The Supreme Court has decided to rule the law of which you sued is unconstitutional. This says that the job is still belongs to whoever Thomas Jefferson decides to give it to.
  • Oh come on! This isn't fair!
  • The job of Justice of Peace still belongs to James Madison because the Supreme Court ruled the law of which Marbury sued unconstitutional. This case established judicial review which is the power that the Supreme court has on determining if laws are constitutional.
