Blah Blah Blah
In the chapter Papa who wakes up tired in the dark, Ezperanza describes her dad crying as ¨crumples as a coat and cries¨ I choose this because when a coat gets wet or moist it crumples up and gets soagy and heavy and Ezperanza describes this as her dad as a simile.
In the chapter Four skinny trees, Ezperanza describes the trees around her as talking to her saying, ¨Keep, keep, keep, trees say when I´m asleep¨ I think this is a great example of personification because trees can´t really speak or say anything to you especially when your sleeping.
In the chapter And some more Nenny tries to tell Ezperanza about types of snow, ¨There ain´t thirty different kinds of snow, Lucy says. There are two kinds, the clean kind and the dirty kind, clean and dirty. Only two. There are a million zillion kinds, says Nenny.
