Xerxes led his soldiers to Hellespont hoping the greeks did not destroy his bridges. It turns out that a storm had destroyed the bridges.
Xerxes had to take his men over the river by boat instead of his bridges. He then left his soldiers in Greece for easy attack in spring.
When spring arrived, the Persians arrived in Greece once more.
Athens and Sparta agree to a common brotherhood ad team up to fight the Persians.
The Persians and the Greeks clash to the death. The Greeks defeated the Persians but los thousands. Each person represents about 10,000 soldiers.
Athens had been taken down to ruins from the Persians but soon built it even higher and stronger.
