  • INTERACTION BETWEEN SOIL AND PLANTS, AND HOW TO PROTECT THEM
  • On top on grass is plants, and underneath is soil. So how do they interact with each other?
  •

  • First, the vegetation gets nutrients from humus (Top layer of soil). The vegetation on top also protects the soil from soil erosion.
  • The plants will die, along with older plants.
  • 
  • Worms
  • When rain (or precipitation) comes, it will turn humus into soil. Organisms such as earthworms help decompose the humus.

  • So, how do we can we protect natural vegetation?
