I just ate some baby carrots with my new grow teeth (no molars or incisors yet) and mouth and swallowed it where it went down my esophagus, into the stomach.
In my stomach, I can feel the food turning into chyme as it moves to the liver.
Now that my food is in liver, the fun part begins! The liver will produce bile which helps you digest fats. Now I can feel the chyme traveling to my pancreas.
In my pancreas, digestive enzymes are being produced, and they help break down proteins, carbohydrates and fats. These enzymes will now go to the small intestine.
Now in my small intestine, the majority of my food is being digested and nutrients are being absorbed through the wall of the intestine into the blood with the help of the villi.
The food has now reached my large intestine and all the excess water and salts are being removed. Everything is now in my rectum where faeces, or poo, is stored. Then my anus will let my poo ou when my brain tells it to.
