The Carbon Cycle
Respiration is carbon dioxide going into the atmosphere coming from plants and animals.
Producers use carbon through photosynthesis to gain energy from the sun.
After sea animals die, their body decomposes into the water, which then goes into the soil and makes carbon.
Once sea creatures die their shells collect up and they get squeezed and compacted to form a sedimentary rock
When fossil fuels burn, CO2 goes into the atmosphere and causes global warming
