This scene in Dracula is the scene in which the "driver" aka Dracula and Jonathan Harker first arrive at Dracula's house. Jonathan is very anxious, and nervous. He is second guessing everything due to fear in which sparked during his journey to Dracula's house. In this scene Jonathan looks to be very nervous, Dracula is leading Jonathan to his bedroom for the night. The authors tone in this scene is very mysterious, it leads the reader to be very curious as to what Dracula really is and what is going to happen to Jonathan Harker.
This scene in Hamlet is the famous "To Be Or Not To Be". In this famous scene, Hamlet is contemplating life - "to live or not to live is the question". The author's tone at this point in the story is very sincere and serious. The author creates a tone in which makes the reader worry, and hope that Hamlet will not commit suicide.
