Lumnay, all alone in the mountains watching from afar the wedding ceremony of her beloved husband Awiyao, felt deep agony and pain for she longed for him though they were to part because of cultural means
Witnessing extreme grief and sadness led her of remembering a memory..
And that memory, was the time wherein the two lovers crossed each other's path. The two met along a river. Awiyao had finished hunting, while Lumnay was fetching water with clay jar.
When Lumnay gave Awiyao the fresh water from her clay jar, that's when Awiyao knew that she was the one. The two later fell in love.
It was indeed a sweet memory, to which she will treasure despite the faint bitterness she felt. She knew very well that Awiyao still loves her.
She then went on her way, holding the beads that Awiyao gave her. Though they were to be separated, nothing can ever separate their eternal love for each other.
