Rex Freezes Time

One day Rex went walking around the block of his home. Then, Rex decided to go to the park.
As he walked to the park, he found a big red button lying on the ground. “I wonder what this button does…” little Rex wondered. He tried to forget about the button, but the button’s roundness and redness got to him.
*Push* “It didn’t do anything,” thought Rex. As Rex looked around, he saw everyone and everything motionless. “Oh, no!” he thought. “I froze time!!!” Frantically, he tried to unfreeze time.
Time went by (well it was frozen so it stayed still) and Rex thought it might not be such a bad idea to unfreeze time. He got to all the dog treats without getting yelled at. He thought of all the advantages, but then began to miss his owner.
Soon, he began his search for the bright red button. After what might’ve been an hour, he found the button, pressed it, then time started again.
As soon as Rex noticed that time restarted, he trekked back home. He scratched at the door letting his owner know that he was back. From that moment on, Rex treasured the time with his friends and his owner. Rex also then had a fear of big, shiny, red buttons.
