A man was going on a long journey so he called his three slaves and gave them each some silver coins. One slaves he gave five bags of silver, another two and the final slave one.
The slave with five bags of silver invested in his money and made another five bags of silver.
You can now be in charge of more money.
The second slave also invested his money and made another two bags of silver coins.
You wicked and lazy slave!
The third slave did not invest his money but instead he buried it in the ground so nobody could find it.
The man congratulated the two slaves who invested in their money and made more money.
The man was disappointed with the slave who had buried the money. He threw the slave out into the cold.
