  • The U.S. had a pretty big impact on the war because they were one of the leading importers and lenders of money and when the market crashed the other countries also lost money, therefore causing a worldwide depression
  • Japan rise as an empire
  • British soldiers opened fire on 400 unarmed Indian demonstrators. killing nearly all of them. This helped convince many Indians that they must rid themselves of their British rulers.
  • china's role
  • The American economy took a huge dive after the market crash, many jobs were lost and people were very poor, this led to other countries going poor because they couldn't get money from the U.S.
  • India's role
  • Japan had little contribution in WW1 and now stood as a big power both economically and in their military. with their military growing it influenced them to attack china and make a alliance with Germany.
  • China declared war on Germany hoping that Germany would give china land back. Japan would have to invade china because of their alliance with Germany. China would eventually gain their land back after world war 2
  • India was trying to stop the wars and wanted no violence what so ever
