  • Portia is worried about Brutus. He's been pacing and will not tell Portia what the matter is.
  • I've wounded my leg to prove that I can handle whatever is bothering you.
  • Calpurnia's dream was of Romans smiling and washing their hands in the blood of a statue of Caesar. She fears that if he goes out tonight, then he will be killed. Caesar decided he will not leave.
  • Decius comes to tell Caesar that they're planning to give him the crown. Calpurnia tells him to let them know Caesar is sick. Caesar got angry and says he will not go because his wife had a bad dream.
  • I had a dream, Caesar. When beggars die there are no comets seen. Please, Caesar, do not go.
  • I will not go. My wife had a bad dream.
  • Decius laughs at Calpurnia's dream. He believes that the Romans were rejoicing and Ceasar's blood was reviving.
  • haha! That's not what it means!
  • Artimidorus reads a letter listing all the conspirators. The letter says that they are plotting against Caesar. Artimidorus will wait on the street until Caesar passes.
  • I need to warn Caesar!
