  • How: Both tracks show the hard work that she is putting into everything from her family to her school work. Why: Despite Summer living beneith the poverty line, she is still able to throw herself into her school work and finish out her senior year of high school.
  • How: These examples from the video both are stating facts about the students at Black Rock High School. Why: Even though these students have huge roles to fill in their families and they live under the poverty line they all still end up graduating despite the circumstances they are in.
  • How: These show how she followed her grandfathers request by finishing high school. Why: Even though, once again, her family is under that poverty line that doesn,t stop her from fulfilling her grandpa's request, even if it takes her longer than the school year.
