What are you doing?
I am looking for sea shells so that I can look at them under the microscope when we get back to the lab!
Cool! You can be just like Robert Hook who was the first person to look at cork cells under a microscope!
Yeah! But I just have to remember the most important thing about microscopes--when you first look in the microscope the stage has to be all the way down with the low power mode on.
Just remember, the most valuable thing when using a microscope is to always carry it with one hand on the arm and the other on the base.
How could I forget!
And the most enjoyable thing about using a microscope is taking pictures of the objects through the Ocular!
Yep and when we take the picture we can paint the picture on our easel!
Wow our painting looks great!
I know right! Can you believe that is the same seashell we found on the beach only magnified 40 times!
