The civilization lasted from 3300-1600 B.C.
The Indus River Valley was in what is now modern Pakistan.
Rich were considered people who owned a lot of land and controlled the buying and selling of luxury goods
Indus homes do not have windows to keep out dust and noise
They brought minerals that came from Iran and Afghanistan.
Traders were responsible bringing the materials workers needed and taking away finished goods to trade in other cities.
The great bath is for people to not only physically clean themselves but to also cleanse the soul of past wrongs.
Modern Hindus also practice the spiritual cleansing.
Toilets were flushed by poring water down a pipe that lead to a main drain in the street.
People dumped water over their heads to clean themselves which also went to the main drain.
Stamps were used to show ownership or to sigh receipts because moth people were illiterate.
A seal is a stamp that is pressed into wet clay to form an impression.
