Chapter One- Friendship
In this scene George says:"No-look! I was jus' foolin', Lennie. 'cause I want you to stay with me."
In this Chapter George says to Lennie"If he tangles with you, Lennie, we're gonna get the can. Don't make no mistake about that. He's the boss's son."
Chapter Three-American Dream
In this scene george says"S'pose they was a carnival or a circus come to town, or a ball, game, or any damn thing, We'd just go to her, We wouldnt ask nobody if we could. Jus' say, 'We'll go to her an we would."
This quote references back to in the chapter were George was yelling at Lennie and by the end Lennie was saying if you don't want me I can run away. With that said George started to feel bad about saying it and started telling Lennie " No I din't mean it I'm sorry. I want you to stay." This mesning George cares about Lennie.
This quote references back to the point were Curely, the boss's son, was trying to pick a fight with Lennie and trying to intimidate Lennie, so George is explaining to Lennie to not try and start nothing with Curely because they could possible get fired and with this sets a barrier between the job and picking a fight.
This quote references to were George was saying to Lennie about if they would want to go any where they wouldn't ask nobody permission they would just go. This saying they would have a little freedom to do what they want.
