TPCASTT Template on I, Too by Langston Hughes.
I, Too You should never make fun of somebody for something they can't change.
A person wants to be heard. He feels different because he looks different. He feels uncomfortable with people around, unless they look the same as him.
I, too, am America. He is unique, but not different. He is human not perfect.
The attitude in the poem could be described as (in chronological order) sad, angered, agitated, brave, enthusiastic, optimistic, proud, encouraging.
At the beginning, the poem could be described as a bit depressing. The man in the story is African American and he is singled out because of that. In early American society, African Americans were slaves for something they couldn't change. In today's society African Americans continue to get looks down upon, but are never used like they once were.
