  • The restaurant doors are like the cell membrane because the both control what goes in and what goes out.
  • The restaurant wall is like the cell wall because they both provide protection from the people/organelles.
  • Today's special: Cell Restaurant By: Clark and Gianna
  • The waiters are the smooth and rough ER because the waiters receive orders and give the dishes to the customers. In a cell, the rough ER makes and modifies proteins and the smooth ER makes lipids and gets rid of poisons.
  • The waiter is also the Golgi Body(s) because they both distribute materials among the customers or the organelles.
  • The restaurant floor is like cytoplasm because cytoplasm holds all the structures like everything is on top of the floor.

  • The manager and his office is the nucleus because they both control what goes on inside the restaurant/cell.
  • The storage room is the mitochondria because it is the room where all of the outlets and wires are to power the restaurant just like a mitochondria powers a cell.
  • The storage area can also be the vacuole because it stores waste products from the food.
  • The stove is the ribosome and the chloroplast because it's the place where food is made and in some of the food are proteins.
  • The refrigerator is like the vacuole because it stores water and food for a restaurant/cell.
