Storyboard Text

  • Here we are, Egypt. Now we will no longer starve.
  • EGYPT! EGYPT! We will no longer go hungry!
  • Hope fully we are not enslaved.
  • Meow... ZZzzz...
  • I adopt... Moses as my son.
  • Are you ready for the responsibility?
  • We feel... ill and sick... cough cough...
  • Israel is moving from Canaan to Egypt because of a great famine. In Egypt, they are later enslaved and then every first born son is killed because the Israelite people repopulate faster and they practice monotheism.
  • Do not worry, God has given me the power to part the sea!
  • I do not believe in your rubbish. Just hand my slaves back and you can walk away unharmed.
  • Moses, is the only Israelite son who was not killed because he was adopted by the Pharaoh's daughter. Later on he left the palace because of some unethical choices he has made. Also, he learns that he needs to fulfill his covenant with God.
  • I speak for everyone as I say that we will follow God and any law he puts forth.
  • I have come down to tell you that our God has given me the 10 commandments, so we can all lead an ethical life and journey.
  • Moses asked the Pharaoh to let God's people go, but pharaoh said no. In return God sent horrible plagues on Egypt. Passover was when the Angel of Death passed over the Israelite house and only kill Egyptian first born sons.
  • I will lead God's people into battle to take back Canaan, I will not fail!
  • Finally, after the tenth plague, the pharaoh finally let God's people go, but immediately regretted his decision and sent troops after the Israelite people. God gave Moses the power to part the Red Sea and when they were safely across Moses drowned the troops.
  • Moses climbs up Mount Sinai and receives the 10 commandments from God and then walks down the mountain to present them to God's people, so they can lead an ethical and moral life style.
  • Moses and God's people wandered the desert for 40 years, but when Moses died Joshua, Moses's assistant led God's people into battle to take back Canaan.
