  • The Protagonist in this story is Mr. Reinsferd and the antagonist is the General. This book was written around the 1920s and was located on an island in the Caribbean.
  • Climax
  • Mr.Reinsford finds out that the general hunts humans for sport. The general says that if he does not agree to hunt with him, than he will become the hunted.
  • Falling Actions
  • Mr. Reinsferd was on a yacht to go hunting. He fell off of the yacht and was drowning. He then swam to the nearest shore. He heard gun shots and then found some 22 cal. bullet shells. He was confused and scared. While he was wondering off in the woods he came across a house. Ivan and the General welcome him to the house. The General talks about hunting and says that he is getting bored and needs something new.
  • Resolution
  • You win Mr. Reinsford, you win.
  • Bark!
  • The General tells Mr. Reinsford that he hunts humans. and that if he refuses to hunt with him than he will be the hunted. Mr. Reinsford is now being hunted. In the process of trying to get a3ay from the general, he kills one of the generals best dogs in a trap and kills Ivan with a knife trap.
  • Let's get him!
  • The General could not find Mr. Reinsford anymore. Little did he know that Mr. Reinsford jumped into the water to avoid being captured and swam.
  • The General was very tired and went to bed. Mr. Reinsford was hiding in the room and reviled himself to the General. Mr. Reinsford had won. This was the first time the General had ever lost. Mr. Reinsford slept in the Generals bed that night.
