  • Making Protein A microscopic mini documentary
  • Transcription begins when the DNA strand is unzipped, and straightened out.
  • Then, a copy is made, which is called mRNA. It is a single strand and shorter than DNA.
  • The mRNA then leaves the nucleus and heads to a ribosome. Then the ribosome reads the recipe and attaches amino acids in the correct order to make protein.
  • After the protein strand is made, it is shaped into the right shape to be used in a certain area. If there is a problem with the protein, it could screw up the nails, hair or other body parts of the person. Not to mention the protein could screw up other protein as well. The protein failure can also lead to diseases. This is why protein is needed to be made correctly in order for its host to live a healthier life than those with incorrect protein,
  • Thanks for reading and don't forget DNA makes RNA makes Protein.
