Perspective and motavation.
In two story's by Edgar Allen Poe two charachters, Montrestor from " The Cask Of Amontillado" and the Narator from " The tell tale heart" both have perspectives on the person they killed and motivation on why they killed them.
Montrestor was more justified than the Narrator.
Montrestor was insulted or hurt by fortuanto that is why's he killed him. "Fortunato had insulted me" it says in the first sentence. Montrestor also said " No one insults me without punishment."
Since Montrestors moto was "No one insults me without punishment" That is the reasoning behind why he killed Forunato and why he was justified by doing so.
Although Fortuanto Insulted Montrestor and went against Montrestors moto, some might say that the narrator in Tell Tales Heart was more justified because he was insane and shouldn't be held responsible.
Although he was insane, family ties run deep and he insulted my family.
This shows how montrestor was more justified in killing someone than the Narrator was.
