  • In the Carpathian woods, the two characters are hunting each other, in an attempt to finish the conflict between their families.
  • Climax
  • There are two central conflicts in “The Interlopers,” by Saki. The primary conflict, of course, is the rigid obstinacy of the men, Ulrich and Georg, who fight over a narrow strip of land. The conflict is magnified by the fact that neither man really needs the land.
  • Falling Action
  • The main rising actions are: The men meeting each other The men getting trapped beneath the tree
  • Resolution
  • In the story, "The Interlopers" the climax began when both men became friends. The evidence that proves this statement is that both Ulrich and Georg call to each other's men for help.
