  • In March of 1770 while protesting, five colonist were shot dead in Boston, the first to die was Crispus Attucks.
  • You cowards
  • On the night of December 16, 1773 the sons of liberty boarded three British ships and through 342 chest of tea in to Boston harbor.
  • WE MUST REBEL!
  • In March of 1774 the British adopted the coercive acts that punished the colonists for their protest later to be known as the intolerable acts.
  • Boston harbor is now closed
  • This is intolerable
  • The first continental congress met on September 5, 1774 to think of new ways to protest and protect the colonies.
  • We must boycott all British goods
  • The shot heard round the world happened at Concord and it was the beginning of the revolution that gained our independence.
  • FIRE!
  • On July 4, 1776 the declaration of independence was signed and we gained our freedom from Britain.
