How did constellations originate?
I'll tell you.
Constellations originated from the ancient Greeks. They saw images in the sky like Hercules or Orion. There are even references about constellations in "Illiad" by Homer, a famous poet, created at about 700 B.C. The ones that we know today are very different than the few they have seen.
One of the more common constellations is the Big Dipper. Even though it was not one of the first constellations, it is still an interesting sight.
Thanks for telling me about constellations!
