Storyboard Text

  • How did constellations originate?
  • I'll tell you.
  • Constellations originated from the ancient Greeks. They saw images in the sky like Hercules or Orion. There are even references about constellations in "Illiad" by Homer, a famous poet, created at about 700 B.C. The ones that we know today are very different than the few they have seen.
  • Interesting.
  • One of the more common constellations is the Big Dipper. Even though it was not one of the first constellations, it is still an interesting sight.
  • Thanks for telling me about constellations!
  • My work here is done...
