Storyboard Text

  • At home I made a clinometer
  • Then I went outside and looked for a tall object to measure
  • I then used the clinometer to measure the angle of elevation. I also used a tape measure my distance from the object
  • My partner measured the distance from the ground to my eyes
  • o     X
  • 10m
  • h
  • I then put the measurements in a mathematical diagram
  • 40
  • o     X
  • tan40 = X/10   etc...
  • 10m
  • h
  • 40
  • I used trigonometry and added eye height to calculate the lenght of X
  • Then I repeated the proccess again with various other objects
