Teen Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence
The couple starts out happy just walking along. Joe tells Sheila that they are going to have sex, Sheila tells him "no" that she is not ready to take that step in the relationship. Joe gets mad and slaps Sheila and tells her that if she don't have sex with him that the slap is just a start and he will beat her a lot worse if she tells him "no" again.
Joe: How was school today, Sheila? Sheila: Great! How was football practice? Joe: It sucked, the coach was screaming at us to start running more. Sheila: I am sorry that he was screaming at you. (Sheila apologizes for something that had nothing to do with her.)
Joe: We are going to my house, I want sex! Sheila: No, I am not ready to have sex yet. Joe: I don't care, I said we are having sex! Sheila: I don't want to have sex. (Joe slaps Sheila across the face)
Joe: That is gonna get a lot worse if you don't start giving me sex, when I want it! Sheila: But. (Sheila crying) (Joe Interrupts and grabs Sheila tightly by the arm) Joe: I told you once, we are having sex. Don't make me tell you again! Don't bother telling anyone either, because who is gonna believe a nobody over a football star.
