You're expecting Nemo? He's busy off somewhere but our coral reefs are under threat from a large variety of problems in our biome.
You see.. Ever since then, the coral reefs are under major problems such as the pollution caused from the urbanisation and dumping of waste.
As well as that, continuous coral mining has the reefs removed of their beloved coral to make bricks and cement for the humans. The coral is also sold on markets as souvenirs which is strange.
Don't forget about the careless tourism that occurs in the area of our habitats.
That's true. With the amount of tourist attractions and resorts in the are, it takes a lot of space and results down to taking away the coral reef area.
But what can be done about these issue? We're just fish.
Well that's where the humans come in. They need to help preserve and protect the living organisms in the reefs.
Like keeping the coral reefs clean and help restore damaged corals.
So far, they've enforced laws on dumping in coral reefs and are now using various methods to restore corals back to the way they were and preventing any losses to the reef environment.
