Storyboard Description

The Lost Generation was the generation that came to age during the war. It mainly referred to the writers of the US. They felt as if all there values and everything they did was irrelevant because it didn't amount to anything. This was caused by all the despair from the deaths during the war gave people a lot of doubt as they started to understand the true horrors of what happened during the war. After the war ended this lost generation of writers moved to Europe. In particular to Paris to create all there works in Europe.

Storyboard Text

  • The generation that reached adulthood during and just after World War I. Most were young men.
  • US WINS WAR!
  • The demand for able bodied men was so high that many teenagers dropped out of school to join the fight.
  • All three are in their twenties.
  • we are going to write all our novels here!
  • Consequently, the demand for able bodied women to join the work force skyrocketed.
  • This then "unnatural" societal order was set back to normal at the conclusion of the First World War
  • Only it wasn't because the boys that went off to fight, those that returned were forever changed and became tired old men.
