Storyboard Text

  • That's why she kept talking about a baby... I shouldn't have kept saying I didn't want one.
  • Anagnorisis
  • Lenny... I'm pregnant.
  • Catharsis
  • Oh Anna, if only there was somebody out there who loved you
  • Hamartia
  • This is the moment the hero makes an important discovery. In Grown Ups 2, Lenny Fader finds out why his wife has been talking so much about having another baby: she's pregnant.
  • Hubris
  • Nah, you're way too ugly to even step foot in my castle.
  • Elements of Tragedy- by Courtney Ries
  • Catharsis is the audience's feeling of pity or fear. In Frozen, new viewers tend to pity Anna or are scared the same could happen to them when Hans refuses to kiss her and leaves her to die.
  • Nemesis
  • Hamartia is a hero's flaw that leads to his or her tragic downfall. Snow White's excessive trust leads to her eating a poisonous apple.
  • Peripeteia
  • Charlie Brown: 100
  • A hero's extreme pride and disrespect for the natural world. In Beauty and the Beast, the Prince denies an old woman a stay in his castle during a snowstorm because she is too ugly.
  • Please shelter me from the bitter cold.
  • You don't know what's coming for you, buddy.
  • The unavoidable fate of the hero caused by his own hubris. In Beauty and the Beast, his hubris leads him to deny the old woman shelter. This leads to her, really a sorceress, turning him into a monstrous beast.
  • The hero's experience of a reversal of fate or fortune. In the Peanuts Movie, this is when Charlie Brown supposedly gets a perfect score on his standardized tests, making him a god to all those around him.
  • You're the coolest kid here, Charlie Brown!!
