  • Russia in WW1
  • Even though we are poor in military power, I still believe the number of people does not determine how strong we are!
  • The February Revolution
  • We want a change now!!!

  • Team Lenin!! LETS GOOOO!!!!!!!
  • Out of all the nations involved in World War 1, Russia as the least prepared of them all. They were more focused on industrialization rather than military. Within the first year of the war, Russia had suffered about half of its total casualties losing at least 4 million of its soldiers to wounds, desertion, or being taken prisoner or killed. They lost almost 15% of its total population
  • Russian Civil War 1918-1919
  • Workers in Russia begin to riot all throughout Russia, but this time they were fully able to organize and make true reforms. Czar Nicholas abdicated his thrown and the Duma is re-established and is placed in charge of ruling Russia
  • Industrial and Agricultural Reforms of Stalin
  • Now that I am in power, these farms are now the states
  • What!! No
  • This revolution was led by Vladimir Lenin. The Bolsheviks were able to organize and seize political power in Russia. Very quickly they were able to take out the ownership of private property and make peace with Germany
  • Stalins Purges 1934
  • Hmmm... no people here, we wont have a problem!
  • The war between the Reds and the Whites. Reds were fighting for the Bolsheviks and the Whites weere fighting for the Czarists. The Reds killed Czar Nicholas II and defeat the white army
  • Come at us Bolsheviks!!
  • Lenin died in the year 1924 and now Joseph Stalin takes power, he moves towards Totalitarianism. They had rapid industrialization with very high demands and now the state owned all farms
  • The Government was very harsh while Stalin was in power and threatens all those who are opposed to him
