  • King George's Navagation Act was in place but few followed it. King George told East India Co. to go directly to the Americas. That caused loss in money. The King tried to make up that money by taxing the untaxed tea.
  • The East India Co. is failing due to smuggling. The colonies are an economic resource...
  • Romero! I will tax the colonist for their tea. So write this down and send this.  Dear East India Co.,
  • The King sent word on taxing tea and is importing the tea to the harbor  
  • Mmm... Yes.- An export! Really?
  •  I need to tell Mr.Adams about this
  • Sammuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty demanded the ships to go back to England. Governor Hutchinson refused to send them back.
  • Send these ships back Immediately!
  • I'm afraid I can't do that. They are here by the kings orders.
  • The Sons of Liberty planned their "attack" on the ships. They wanted to prove their point to England.
  • I Sammuel Adams, will not let England treat us this way. We will fight back by...  DUMPING THE TEA!
  • Then it began. The Boston Tea Party. Colonist shouted no taxation without representation. That day the Sons of Liberty dumped 340 chests of tea into the Atlantic Ocean.
  • No Taxation without  Representation!
  • Stop this immediately!
  • News of the Boston Tea Party reached King George. He was furious and shut down the Boston Harbor until they paid for the 340 chests of tea.
  • Your Majesty  Governor Hutchinson sent word of vandalism of the tea crates.
  • Romero! Write and send this to the colonists. There will not be any trade in the harbor until...
