Scared, Agelaos took the beautiful baby Paris and ran up a mountain.
Agelaos just couldn't bring himself to killing a baby. He thought to himself, What if I didn't have to kill the baby? Suddenly Agelaos knew what to do. He would leave Paris overnight to die, so he didn't have to kill him.
To a wonderful surprise, the next morning when Agelaos returned, the baby Paris was still alive. He had also been taken in by bears.
Agelaos suddenly knew what to do. He didn't have to kill the baby, he just needed to keep him. He could simply kill a dog, cut off it's tongue, and then bring it to the king.
Agelaos killed a stray dog, and cut off his tongue, and got ready to show the king.
Agelaos showed King Priam the dog tongue with high hopes. Luckily, the King believed him. Agelaos was very content and ran out to his new son, Paris. Paris and Agelaos were a great family. Agelaos taught Paris many things, and they were living a happy life.
