Railroads encourage business in Texas and Mexico by running lines to the Mexico border. The railroads improved a lot. The railroad effects on multiple city's. In the early 1880's International and Great Northern stretched the railroad lines.
Labor Unions grew faster in Texas because they got jobs even more quicker. The unions worked extremely hard for improvements in hours, wages and working conditioning of laborers. The bad thing about the Labor Unions was that there was violence and labor actions were basically threatened, by the transportation of goods.
Advantages of railroads are that community leaders were willing to offer money, as in funds, bonds and more things to help pay for more railroad equipment/construction. You can obviously tell that many cities, actually , everyone wants more railroad tracks. Because of this, railroads allowed farmers to ship goods to markets faster & at a small cost & carried construction supplies to railroads go faster than any other type of transportation.
