Ms. Jane Winthrop comes home late one night from a business trip to say goodnight to her only daughter, Precious Winthrop
Precious is fearful of tonight, for things she's said of seeing. She asks her mother to sleep with her. Jane agrees and they fall asleep.
Jane awakens not even 2 minutes later, but is curious as to what woke her up when she just fell asleep. To her horror, floating at the end of the bed, reciting a quote from Shakespere's,"Romeo and Juliet."
"And when I shall die, take him and cut him up in little stars, and he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will fall in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun."
The ghost suddenly becomes hostile, threatening to do what happened to her hundreds of years before. Jane realizes this is the ghost from the legend of Sarah Blight, killed by her mother, promptly having her child abducted by her. Jane also realizes the ghost has mistakened her for the wicked mother.
A SIMPLE CHANGE OF CLOTHES WILL NOT FOOL ME MOTHER! THOU HAS COMMITTED AN UNFORGIVABLE SIN!
Without warning, the phantom takes Precious, and fades into the night, taking Precious with her.
AND WILL NOW PAY FOR THEM!
Jane is devastated, but she can't do anything about her daughter's disappearance. Jumping off the bed, she runs towards where the spirit was, but trips and pounds her head into the wall, (>n< Morbidly) creates a concussion, and she bleeds out in five minutes.
