  • Slide your leg out to the side as far as you can and then back.
  • Tighten your thigh muscle and try to straighten your knee.
  • As your thigh muscle tightens, lift your leg several inches off the bed.
  • Now we are going to do some exercises while standing.
  • Lift your operated leg toward your chest.
  • Keep your hip, knee and foot pointing straight forward.
