Storyboard Text

  • After Esher had been decapitated by Grendel's revenge seeking mother Beowulf set after her. They battled under water for a long time, Beowulf being able to with his superhuman abilities. Beowulf attempted to kill her within those hours many times with his hrunting. Although it was ineffective. Then he saw a sword hanging, and he took the time to snatch this magic sword and cut Grendel's mother's head off. When he returned to shore, with the head, only the Geats had waited, the Danes had lost hope and gone home.
  • Beowulf left the Danes after the threat bearing Grendel and his mother haas been executed. He and the Geats set back home to Geatland.
  • After Beowulf had returned his lord, Higlac, died, the throne was offered to Beowulf whom rejected it, for he was not the next in line, but his cousin, Herdred. Once Herdred died Beowulf ruled for fifty winters. Until a slave stole a cup from the stone tower of the dragon to make amends with his master.
  • The dragon woke, knowing that the slave stole a cup she went to look for him. Burning fields and homes on the way. Although she was never able to find him. Beowulf and Wiglaf fought the dragon.
  • Beowulf and Wiglaf are able to kill the dragon at last, but the dragons death resulted in the death of Beowulf as well.
  • Beowulf battled the dragon, Wiglaf being the only warrior courageous enough to help Beowulf. The venomous poison form the dragon however was too strong for even Beowulf. Beowulf died form the venom of the dragon but before he did asked of one thing from the Geats, and that was to see his treasure before he died and a tower named after him, Beowulf's ashes and his treasure was sealed in the walls of the tower.
