College Problems: Roommate Edition pt. 2
This storyboard does not have a description.
Claire, calm down. This is great news! You were allowing her to make you become someone different than who you are. You are not happy living with her, and she's toxic.
Wow...My mom is right. I have completely changed how I want to live to accommodate Staci's constant demands and volatile moods. I thought the sacrifices were worth the peace and quiet, but I was wrong. I'm mad at myself for putting myself in this position.
I can't believe that you expected better from Staci. Unlike you, she is an only child that has little experience having to accommodate others. You said she even brags to you about getting everything she wants. I know it's unfair, but that is what's happening right now.
No, you are right! I feel so much better, and I feel like this is almost a blessing in disguise. This whole year, in order to avoid confrontation, I just did what she wanted. I'm done doing that!
This experience has taught me a lot. I won't change who I am just to appease others! Maintaining my self-respect is more important than pleasing someone who has no regard for me. I must be true to myself!
