  • On the Manor Farm, Old Major, gathers the animals for a meeting ans inspires them to revolt. Although he dies, two pigs, Napoleon and Snowball, vow to continue his work, and lead the others in driving off the unfit, drunken farmer. The pigs of them begin to establish a new government where animals have rights.
  • Climax
  • The animals begin to read and write and have beliefs. Napoleon and Snowball keep on disagreeing on everything, and Snowball wants to build a windmill for electricity. Napoleon does not want to build it. Napoleon wins by having his dogs chase Snowball off the farm.
  • Falling Action
  • The windmill falls down, and the animals work hard through a tough winter to rebuild it, since they know the humans aren't watching it would be a victory for them if they knew that the windmill was not built on time. Eventually, Napoleon's supremacy has him paranoid that someone will try to overthrow them.
  • Resolution
  • Napoleon begins to blame Snowball, the pig he chased away, for incidents happening on the farm. Using Snowball as a scapegoat, Napoleon begins to purge the farm, accusing other animals of conspiring with his old rival, and attacking them with dogs.
  • Napoleon has worked Boxer so hard that he died. Napoleon also begins to get rid of things like Sunday meetings and "Beasts of England". Things get progressively worse on the farm. Animals are worked to the point of collapsing, and it is clear that the commandments have been rewritten.
  • The pigs began to stay inside the house with the other humans that passed out from being drunk. The pigs were also drinking liquor and beer. They began to walk on their hind legs like humans and they eventually changed the name of the farm back the Manor Farm. So now the farm is right back to where it was in the beginning.
