imagine being stuck in a crowded room with windows closed and no air conditioning. this is the scene and reality our founding fathers sealed with while creating the DECLARATION of INDEPENDENCE
after the declaration of independence the founding fathers had too create the articles of confederation.
when the constitution was created the people were separated into two parties. One part were the federalist who wanted the ratification of the constitution and the other party were anti-federalist who were against it.
then after awhile james madison decided it was time for a new government and he presented the virginia plan which created a new government that was split into three different branches of government, legislative, executive, and judicial
after the Virginia plan came a revision called the new jersey plan which called for an federal leader as well as a supreme tribunal.
there was a lot of controversary and separation on how o form the right government so a few compromises were created. one was the Connecticut compromise which called for the senate and house of representatives and each should be represented equally
there was another compromise called the 3/5 compromise which stated every free person should be accounted for but only 3/5 of every other person. this way southern states didn't over power the north do to its population of slaves
on september 8, constitutional convention was brought together to compromise and create constitution which would be the official government. delegates from each sate came together to agree on each term recoded in the constitution
