Hi Today you all will watch a film about strategies of selecting and storing food.
There are many different cost-saving stratigies such as unit pricing and using cupons to save money.
Budgets are broken into 3 categories Income- Money coming in Fixed expenses- Expenses you cant change Flexible income- expenses you can change from month to month
Dairy-Do not buy expired milk or damaged cartons. Fruits and Vegetables- Check for the color, smell, and touch. High quality fruits should be heavy and firm.
How to puchase
Meats- Make your selection based on color, cut, expiration date, smell and packaging. if storing meat for longer then a few days it must be frozen to ensure safe.
