Storyboard Text

  • This morning, my alarm clock on my phone woke me up. The alarm clock was originally invented by Ctesibus in Ancient Greece, and I still use it everyday.
  • In my ELA class, we have discussions about the English Language. Most of English is based of of Greek, and without it, we wouldn't even be able to communicate.
  • After school, I used the GPS on my phone to find out where my wrestling match was. An early form of the GPS, the map, was invented by Ptolemy in Ancient Greece. His system of longitude and latitude is what we use in our modern GPS's.
  • Once I arrived at my wrestling match I wrestled a kid who I pinned in 1:13. Although we no longer fight to the death, wrestling was created in Ancient Greece, and many people still enjoy it today.
  • When I got home I did my math homework on the Pythagorean Theorem, before having Greek Salad for dinner. The Pythagorean Theorem was created by Pythagoras in Ancient Greece, and it's still the only way we can find a triangle's hypotenuse.
  • After I ate my Greek Salad me and my family watched an action movie. Although action movies weren't created in Ancient Greece, theater certainly was. Films such as movies were inspired by theater. The Greeks even designed the special effect that helps iron man to fly.
