  • I am Lord Capulet
  • I am Julia
  • Conflict
  • The Capulets are not welcomed by the Montagues.
  • You are not welcomed either by the Capulets.
  •
  • Rising Actions
  • The setting of the story was Verona, Italy. The characters in Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet are Romeo, Juliet, Lord Montague, Lady Montague, Benvolio, Mercutio, Lady Capulet, Lord Capulet, Tybalt, Petruchio. Nanny, Count Paris, Balthasar, Abraham. Samson, and Gregory.
  • Climax
  • I must drink this poison to see Juliet again.
  • The conflict of the story was the constant fighting between Romeo and Juliet's families which made Romeo and Juliet hide their love from each other because if either of the families found out they loved each other, then a bigger problem would rise between the two families.
  • Falling Actions & Resolution
  • We will build a statue to honor Romeo.
  • We will build a statue to honor Juliet also.
  • The rising actions of the story are Romeo and Juliet getting married at the Capulets party, Tybalt getting killed by Romeo, Romeo getting banished from Verona, and Juliet taking medicine to act like she was dead, so she did not have to marry Paris and so she could get married to Romeo.
  • The climax of the story is when Romeo takes poison so he can die to be reunited with Juliet. This was the highest point of suspense because as the reader, we knew that Juliet wasn't dead, so when Romeo decided to take the poison we knew Juliet would have had a heartbroken and intense reaction.
  • The falling actions of the story are Juliet killing herself over Romeo's death, and when the Montagues and Capulets discover that Romeo and Juliet have died. The resolution of the story is when the Montagues honor the Capulets by building a statue of Juliet, and when the Capulets honor the Montagues by building a statue of Romeo over both of their deaths.
