  • No Ms. We don't know what an equilateral, scalene or isosceles triangle is.
  • Answer My question do you or do you not know?
  • Lets start with an equilateral it's the easiest to understand what word do we hear  in equilateral?
  • No I mean yes we hear the word ladder but I think she meant in equilateral we hear the word equal
  • I know in equilateral we hear the word ladder what do you think that means?
  • Well your fast learners
  • The three side AN EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE IS A TRIANGLE THAT HAS ALL EQUAL SIDES
  • That is correct Stacey and Jake that was... a good guess but if what do you guys think is equal in an equilateral triangle?
  • It almost reminds me of an equilateral but only 2 of the sides are equal.
  • An isosceles triangle is a triangle with two equal sides just like whats demonstrated on the white board
  • So then let me guess a scalene triangle is where none of the sides are equal
  • That's correct Jake  What about what other triangles can have an acute angle?
  • Thats a trick question because an acute triangle can be scalene, equilateral or isosceles triangle
  • Well you guys are quick learners which one of you can tell me what other triangle is  a scalene triangle
  • A right triangle is also a scalene triangle
  • Actually Ms. Pizza is shaped more like scalene triangles not equilateral's.
  • Jake and Stacey well done you two did a great job you understood the types of triangles now you can go down stairs and eat your equilateral pizza's
  • looks like maybe we should do the teaching
