  • Simile- Comparing two things with like or as.
  • The dog is as soft as a teddy bear.
  • Metaphor-   Comparing  two thing  without using like or as.
  • The dog is a teddy bear.
  • Alliteration-  words in a sentence that start with the same letter or sound.
  • I told the dog  to stop barking a million times.
  • Hyperbole-  An extreme exaggeration.
  • Onomatopoeia-  Is a word that imitates it's sound
  • STOP BARKING,STOP BARKING,STOP BARKING,STOP BARKING!
  • WOOF
  • The dog sang a sad song when he couldn't find his bone.
  • (singing)I can't find my bone now it doesn't have a home. I wish I could find my bone.
  • The dog's food dish disappeared deep inside of the dog food.  
  • WOOF! The dog is barking at the owner.
  • WOOF!
