  • Squealer
  • On page 16 in the first paragraph it tells us this, “The best  known among them was a small fat pig  named Squealer, with  very  round  cheeks, twinkling eyes, nimble movements, and a shrill voice. He  was a  brilliant talker."
  • He was a leader. For example on page 11 it states that “Squealer was sent  to make the necessary explanations to the others.”
  • One last thing about Squealer was a quote that said he could make great speeches of joy which proves he is a happy pig.
  • Also on page 17 was a quote from Squealer saying "Bravery is not enough”. This shows some of the feelings Squealer has for the other animals.
  • Benjamin
  •  Benjamin was the oldest animal on the farm. For example on page 10 it says "He did his work in the same slow obstinate way as he had done it in Jones's time, never shirking and never volunteering for extra work either."
  • Benjamin was also a animal on the farm that could read and all couldn't. Supporting this is on page 10 "Benjamin could read as well as any pig, but never exercised his faculty."
  • Overall, Benjamin was just a super old, crabby, stubborn donkey that disparaged with a ton through out the book. This is proven in multiple spots.
  • He was a very stubborn donkey too. Like shown on page 16 everybody was to vote for Snowball or Napoleon but he was the only animal that refused and did not vote.
  • Boxer
  • "A white  stripe down  his nose gave  him  a  somewhat  stupid  appearance,  and  in fact  he was not of first−rate  intelligence, but he was  universally respected for his steadiness of  character and tremendous powers of  work." nose gave him a somewhat stupid appearance, and in fact he was not of first−rate intelligence, but he was universally respected for his steadiness of character and tremendous powers of work.
  • Boxer is a huge horse, about 18 hands high and is as strong as 2 horses put together. This is proven on page 1.
  • Boxer was such a hard worker. On page 9 this was written about him, “Boxer was  the admiration of everybody. He had been a hard  worker even in Jones's time,  but now he seemed more like three horses  than one; there  were days when the  entire work of the farm seemed to  rest on his mighty shoulders.”
  • Something funny and kind of interesting about Benjamin was that while learning the alphabet the could not get past D. This is stated on page 10 also.
  • Let's go paint the Seven Commandments!!!!
  • Number One- Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy.
  • Number Three- No animal shall wear clothes.
  • Number Two- Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings is a friend.
  • Number Four- No animal shall sleep in a bed.
  • Number Six- No animal shall kill any other animal.
  • Number Five- No animal shall drink Alcohol.
