Declaration of the Rights of Man
Region of terror
10/5/1789 women marched from where they lived to Paris. Later on a mob broke out because the price of bread was increased dramatically.
Execution of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette
The Declaration of the Rights of Man gave equality to all three estates. The estates were having issues with tax nobility. They wanted to have equal voting rights.
Rise of Napolean
Many Nobles we leaving France because there was a disease that was called the French plague. About 1,000 people were killed in public.
Fall of Napoleon
January 21, 1793 the king was executed with no turning back. The execution of the king made more challenges by creating new enemies for the Revolution at home and strengthening those who were already his enemies.
1785 Napoleon became an officer for the French army. He wanted a constitutional monarchy. Once he was king he made the Napoleonic Code That was based on 2 ideas, (1.) All men are equal (2.) People have rights to property.
Napoleon escaped Elba, fought in the Battle of Waterloo to regain d.his power and then lost the battle, was banished to an Islanf where he stayed till the day he died.
