Jim Brown was a famous African American athlete for the Cleveland Browns he was a star running back, setting records and later being elected into the hall of fame.
1956: Named All-American at Syracuse. 1958: Named rookie of the year. 1958, 1963, 1965: Name most valuable player of the year. 1959: Won the Jim Thorpe trophy. 1959, 1964: Named NFL player of the year. 1964: Won Bert Bell Memorial award. 1964: Won Hickok Belt Athlete of the year. 1971: Elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Jim brown was born on 1936-2-17. He was an African American football player, actor and civil rights advocate. From Saint Simon's, Ga. He was the son of Swinton and Theresa Brown.
