Destroy All Bacteria

Storyboard Text

  • DAB *sneeze*
  • When the virus first enters the body, a response called the "Immune Response" is sent out, which signals the bodies defensive barriers.
  • These white blood cells attempt to destroy germs as soon as they detect them.
  • The Immune System's main role is to fight any infections that may enter your body.
  • Bone marrow begins producing more white blood cells at a rapid pace
  • However, if the WBC are not strong enough, the body sends out a more powerful agent, T Lymphatics.
  • Anti bodies are made by Protein B cells,. Antibodies tag themselves onto a virus to stop it from replicating.
  • T Cells then join the party, which are like the guard dogs of your body. They detect, and kill virus infected cells to stop virus reproduction
  • Meanwhile in his immune system...
  • The Antibody (green) tags itself onto the virus so that the other cells know to attack the virus
  • The White Blood Cells detect the virus, and instantly attack it directly.
  • VIRUS!!!!!
  • Meanwhile the T-Cells (purple) are performing their rolls. Some help reproduce Antibodies, some kill the virus, and some alert the body of the virus.
  • B-Cells (blue) create accurate memory and records of the virus while your body is busy fighting it, to better prepare the body for the next time the virus invades
  • After the virus has been completely cleared, the B-Cells send the records to the rest of the immune system, so your body is primed for the next time the cold enters your body.
